Beics Ogwen

Beics Ogwen is part of Partneriaeth Ogwen Community Transport project and is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.

We have electric bikes and normal bikes available to hire for local residents and visitors as part of our work towards sustainable transport and green tourism.

To be ensure that we provide for the whole community, we have a fleet of accessible bikes and side-by-side bikes, and we run regular accessible cycling sessions at Bethesda Rugby Club in partnership with Disability Sports Wales and Cwmni Byw'n Iach.

Beics Ogwen also offers a bike maintenance and repair service - ask about availability and prices. We are also always ready to provide advice on getting to know your bike and on retro-fitting electric motors, and bikes in general.

Our aim with Beics Ogwen is to promote wellbeing and the environment by encouraging more people to cycle more often. We collaborate with local schools and associations and are keen to promote cycling all over Dyffryn Ogwen in our work towards green tourism.

Please do get in touch if you would like to volunteer to fix bikes, or if you would like to donate bikes, parts or equipment.
