• Find suitable accounting software for the company
• Establishing the fiscal system
• Set up the payroll - including contacting CThEm
• A payroll service that includes entering new staff. Processing wages and sending the relevant information to CThEm.
• Set up a current pension scheme and set up on the new software.
• Process timesheets for payroll.
• Administer the payroll on a monthly or weekly basis.
• Set up the accounting system. This will include entering any initial information such as bank balances, setting up an automatic bank stream, creating cost centers for budget expenditure, entering the organization's information into the software, creating a template for invoicing and ensuring that all the necessary budget information is submit to CThEm automatically.
• Maintain the accounts on a daily basis by reconciling the transactions, and coding them to the correct cost centres.
• Use the information that has been entered into the accounts software for the preparation of finance reports for meetings and grant applications.
• Create and maintain spreadsheets for payments/invoices.
• Create and maintain spreadsheets for tracking grant expenditure in collaboration with the chief officer/employer
• Monitor budgets and costs and advise as needed.
• Invoicing
• VAT service (if applicable)
• Service through the medium of Welsh and dealing with CThEm through the medium of Welsh.
• Assist with setting up a 'Government Gateway' account
• Register to be self employed
• Assist and mentor with self assessment
• Assist and mentor to complete CHC forms
• Simple bookkeeping for self-employed individuals.
